Meet Our Staff
Dr. Michele Linnenbrink, DVM
A general practitioner at Fairview Veterinary Hospital since 2003, Dr. Michele Linnenbrink is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Dr. Linnenbrink attended Colorado State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1995. She continued her education at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
A member of the New York State Veterinary Medical Association and the Genesee Valley Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Linnenbrink also provides medical services to the Wayne County Humane Society.
Dr. Linnenbrink shares her home with a bloodhound, a St. Bernard and three cats, as well as her children and husband.
Dr. Robin Lovelock, DVM
A native of the Saratoga area, Dr. Lovelock has cared for pets as a general practitioner at Fairview Veterinary Hospital since 1992.
Dr. Lovelock graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester in 1976 where she received a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Biology-Geology. She attended the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell Univesity, receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. During her four years at Cornell, Dr. Lovelock was the recipient of several academic awards. In her junior year, she was inducted into Phi Zeta, the veterinary honor society, and at graduation she was awarded the Mary Louise Moore Prize for Bacteriology and the Sheidy Prize for Pharmacology. Following veterinary school, Dr. Lovelock was selected for a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia, in Athens, Georgia.
Upon completion of her internship in 1984, Dr. Lovelock returned to the Rochester area and joined Monroe Veterinary Associates. She previously cared for pets at Irondequoit Animal Hospital as well as the Perinton Veterinary Hospital before joining the Fairview Veterinary Hospital medical team.
Dr. Lovelock is an adjunct professor at the Rochester campus of Medaille college, where she teaches in the Licensed Veterinary Technician program. She is also a 'real reader' for Biology 272, a scientific writing course at the University of Rochester, and a mentor for the Career Internship Program at Pittsford Sutherland High School. Dr. Lovelock enjoys yoga, spinning, travel, and spending time with her children, family and friends.
Wendy is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and the supervisor of Fairview Veterinary Hospital's veterinary technicians. Wendy has helped care for pets at Fairview since 1988 and has worked in the animal care field since 1985. She loves working with the friendly staff and wonderful animals that come into the hospital. Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys camping and watching her children’s sporting events. Her family's four-legged members include two Basset Hounds, Chloe and Clifford, and five cats, Winnie, Summer, Dottie Dot, Missy and Rocky.
Kristen grew up in the Bushnell’s Basin area. She is the client service supervisor at Fairview Veterinary Hospital, where she has worked since 2003. Kristen has been employed in the animal field for the past 27 years. She is also a wildlife rehabber, works with a pit-bull rescue, and fosters big dogs from Wayne County Humane Society. Kristen has a son named Nick and three grandkids, Miranda, Brooke, and Evan. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, working with her dog and photographing abandon buildings and wildlife.
Christine grew up in Albion NY. She has been a part-time client service representative at Fairview since 2007. She enjoys “interacting with clients and seeing their pets.” She especially enjoys “seeing new puppies and kittens.” Christine shares her home with her dog, Leah and two cats, Cobie and Graycie. In her free time, Christine enjoys hiking, watching movies, playing cards and spending time with the family and friends (which of course includes her pets!).
Julie has been working with animals for nearly 20 years. She began working as a part-time client service representative at Fairview in 1995. Julie also has her Master’s in Education from Nazareth College and teaches full-time. She enjoys working at Fairview because they “have an amazing group of compassionate, thoughtful, knowledgeable and accommodating veterinarians and staff.” Julie shares her home with her husband and two daughters as well as their two dogs, Lexi and Tazer, and two cats, Toby and Trigger. In her free time, Julie loves spending time with her family outdoors, camping, hiking biking and boating.
Janell grew up in Victor, NY. She began working in the animal field in 2007 when she started at Fairview Veterinary Hospital. She is currently a part-time client service representative. Janell loves Fairview because they “have the best co-workers, clients… and pets of course!” Janell spends her free time with her friends and family. She shares her home with her two cats, Clay and Ruben.
Taylor was born in Plattsburgh and grew up in Fairport, NY. She is currently a part time kennel attendant at Fairview. She is also studying to be a radiology technician. In her free time, Taylor enjoys hanging out with friends, playing soccer and being outdoors. She has one cat named Tigs.
